Everything you need to know about this free educational webinar series on AI and emotional spending awareness.
Financial decisions are rarely purely rational. In everyday life, they often emerge from complex emotional dynamics: stress after a long day, the desire to celebrate a small success, the urge to relieve boredom, or the comfort of a spontaneous purchase.
Because these reactions occur quickly, people frequently notice them only after the fact — when reviewing monthly expenses or reflecting on recent decisions.
Recent advances in artificial intelligence have opened new possibilities for personal reflection. Neural networks trained on large text datasets are capable of identifying emotional tones, detecting recurring patterns in narratives, and offering neutral observations about behavioral tendencies.
Research in human-AI collaboration for self-awareness (CHI, Affective Computing, UIST publications from 2024–2025) suggests that such systems can sometimes provide gentler feedback than traditional financial planning tools. Instead of prescribing rules or goals, they allow individuals to explore their own habits through observation and reflection.
This project does not teach participants how to connect AI to financial accounts, automate budgeting systems, or track spending automatically.
Instead, it focuses on the concept of AI as a reflective assistant — a tool that can help individuals examine written notes about purchases, emotions, and daily experiences in order to recognize patterns over time.
The project is strictly educational and does not promote products, services, financial platforms, or commercial applications.
The webinar is provided for educational purposes only. The invited expert participates as a guest contributor.
